Job Title: Referral and Admin Coordinator
Status: Full-Time
Location: South Edmonton
Shift: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays

Job Summary:

We are growing!  Our clinic located in Tamarack is growing and we are looking for an energetic, motivated and well rounded Referral Coordinator.  Our clinic services the Tamarack, Millwoods and surrounding areas, we currently have 4 family physicians and we are a fast paced high volume clinic.

We are looking for a Referral Coordinator who has experience within the City of Edmonton or surrounding areas.  The ideal candidate would be dedicated, organized, a self starter and up for the challenge.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing referral requests up to 200 referrals per day
  • Following up with specialists
  • Liaison between physicians and patients
  • Contacting and Communicating with patients about upcoming specialist appointments
  • Following up with physicians regarding uninsured services
  • Answering patient enquiries about forms
  • Collection of payments

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu (not required, but would be nice)
  • Excellent work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to provide exceptional customer service is a must
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a referral coordinator
  • Med Access experience
